- How are keys managed?
- If I want to remove a user from the list of approved viewers how is this done?
- What documents are supported today by Office Sentry?
- Can I work off-line and still retain access to the document?
- Can I add people to the list of approved viewers which are outside my company?
- How are keys managed? Keys are based on your identity and are stored on a unique Voltage Identity Key server. There is no management of these keys as in the past. If a key becomes corrupt, the user just has to re-authenticate into the domain to generate a new one.
- If I want to remove a user from the list of approved viewers how is this done? You open the document, go to save as secure and remove the specific user.
- What documents are supported today by Office Sentry? Today, only Word 2000 and 2003 are supported. We will soon be releasing support for Excel, PowerPoint and others formats as well as support for 2007.
- Can I work off-line and still retain access to the document? Yes, you have full access to the document while working off-line. Through locally cached credentials, the end user will have the ability to open the document, modify and re-save in it's encrypted state.
- Can I add people to the list of approved viewers which are outside my company? Yes, you simply have to enter their e-mail address. They will be prompted to visit a website where they will have to enter a username and password.

- Are agents required? No, C2 Auditor does not require agents on the remote servers and uses only native SQL calls to grab the audit data.
- Is full C2 tracing required? No, C2 Auditor will only turn on tracing where required by the end user and this is all done automatically through the selections made by the end user.
- What type of reporting/alerting is provided by C2 Auditor? An organization can report and alert on changes made to the permissions of users, login times, data modifications and queries run.
- What versions of SQL does C2 Auditor support? SQL 2000 and 2005 are supported.
- Will this help me with my PCI initiatives? Yes, a lot of time critical client and credit card data is stored in a SQL DB. C2 Auditor provides reporting around all access attempts to this data including the time and caller account.
